The Botox Dilemma
I always find it fascinating to see what my personal work gets used for.
Here is a book cover from The Netherlands for Nathalie Huigsloot’s ‘het botox dilemma’
Nerd fact: Note how ‘The’ in Dutch consists of the same letters as in English but just in a different order.

Collapse
Dance explorers New Movement Collective are performing ‘Collapse’ at the Southbank Centre, London first week of August.
I am really pleased the way they used my photo of Jonathan Goddard for this.
My Dance
Here are a few tasters from my shoot for The Royal Academy of Dance’s new ‘MyDance’ publication.
The shoot featured dancers from a wide variety of backgrounds, who represent the width and scope of The RAD.
Toddlers through to teens and then all the way up to the silver surfers were dancing, jumping and flying through the studio for a whole day.
More on my site soon and you can see the brochure here.
Novelist
Novelist. No he doesn’t write novels. He is a major player in the Grime scene; has worked with Skepta and has already been to Nike’s ‘top secret facilities’ in Oregon to show them exactly how the tracksuit should be worn.
Oh- and if you listen to Rinse FM you’ll probably know him.
Thank yous to Novelist- and Duncan, Hayden, Munnoo, Riya and the rest of the ‘gang’.
Triptych of Jonathan Goddard
Battling demons and landing like an angel.
A triptych of dancer Jonathan Goddard from our minimal shoot.
Transformers
For the new issue of Dance Gazette I shot the wonderful transgender, Sophie.
Here is a preview trailer of the issue.

The Man Machine
From my shoot with dancer Jonathan Goddard exploring the ‘traces’ and fluidity of movement.
The shot below captures Jonathan’s incredible strength and sense of structural and dynamic shapes.
Muybridge’s shots of the moving horse came to mind whilst doing this – so I kept it in black and white.

Genee Ballet Competition 2015
The Genee International Ballet Competition returns to London this year. I shot two of the previous medal recipients for The Royal Academy of Dance.
The winner of this year’s competition will be announced at the end of the week.
Here is the enchanting Francesca ‘Frankie’ Hayward who was silver medallist in 2010.
And below a fiery Steven McRae who received gold in 2002.
Here is Steven being interviewed about the Genee competition
I was so pleased with the layout of the programme that landed on my door step today that I’ll share it with you below:
